Concerns
Reasons to reach out
Adolescence calls for both independence and reliable support. A consultation may help with mood changes, anxiety, loneliness, protest, school difficulties or a sense that conversations at home have become impossible.
- Anxiety, fears and intense emotions
- Self-esteem, body image and self-acceptance
- Study motivation, procrastination and future choices
- Conflict with parents or peers
- Relocation, adaptation and loneliness
Safety
The teenager’s space and parental involvement
At the start we discuss the concern and confidentiality. A teenager needs a safe space of their own, while parents need a clear frame for support. Adult involvement is agreed according to age and circumstances.
Process
Supporting growth, not correcting a person
We practise recognising emotions and body signals, tolerating tension, communicating boundaries, taking action and asking for help. The aim is not a more convenient teenager, but a stronger ability to understand themselves and make responsible choices.
